Back-to-School Resource Guide

By September 4, 2020 No Comments

Whether you’re teaching in the classroom, at home, or a little bit of both this year, Hip Hop Public Health has put together a helpful resource guide for teachers and parents. Take a look at some of our standards-based educational resources you can use for fun and engaging lessons:

COVID-19 Safety

Jam out to our trilogy of COVID music video PSAs and resources featuring over 100 artists, leaders, entertainers, athletes, actors, families and more as you learn proper handwashing techniques, social distancing protocols and the correct way to wear and store a mask.

Physical Activity

No gym, no problem. You don’t need any fancy equipment to get up (or sit down) and dance! Keep your spirits up and stay healthy with our standards-based H.Y.P.E. dance breaks that encourage physical activity no matter if you’re seated or standing.

Nutrition & Health Literacy

We have over 50 resources that empower children to lead a healthy lifestyle by teaching them about nutrients, caloric intake and eating a balanced diet. Easily sort through tons of music videos, cartoons and songs featuring their favorite artists like Ariana Grande and Travis Barker by grade level and content area as well as by the National Health and Physical Education Learning Standards and the Healthy Out of School Time (HOST) Standards.

Mindfulness & Mental Health

Self-care isn’t selfish. Tune in to your mental health, especially with everything going on in the world right now. Stay in the present moment, chill, focus, flow and relax with our Mindful Beats and Move collection.
