With more than 11,000 rental locations in approximately 180 countries around the world, the leading global provider of mobility solutions, Avis Budget Group (ABG) has partnered with Hip Hop Public Health to develop training tools and has created the ABG Medical Advisory Council. This new coalition, which includes RB, the maker of Lysol, will elevate the safety of ABG’s employees and customers, as well as enhance the disinfection protocols of its rental facilities and vehicles.
The Medical Advisory Council is chaired by our founder Dr. Olajide Williams, Chief Medical Officer of Neurology at Columbia University, and includes Dr. Amelia Boehme, Dr. Robert Bollinger, Dr. Gbenga Ogedegbe and Dr. Angela Rasmussen. Together, this external team will guide ABG in deploying effective tools and enhanced protocols grounded in the latest medical science to help curb the spread of infectious diseases.
In collaboration with the ABG Medical Advisory Council, Hip Hop Public Health will inspire and sustain the uptake of new health behaviors that promote public safety for ABG’s employees and customers by developing scalable, highly engaging, music and multimedia “edutainment” training tools that are based on validated models of behavior change and evidenced-based research.
